Description |
Compact Abney level with square gunsight ('telescope'). The tubular level is observed through the 'telescope' with a pin hole and a horizontal wire in square tube. Convenient fine and coarse motion screws to adjust the bubble to the line of sight. The circle is graduated from -90° to + 90° in 1° steps (vernier scale graduated in 10' intervals). Other graduations: ELEVn from 1-1 to 10 and DEPn from 10 to 1-1. A small magnifying glass is attached for the reading of the vernier scale. The 'telescope' and the bubble carrier are painted black. The circle is in brass and (white) metal. |
