Description |
Abney level with square gunsight ('telescope') , 166 mm long (eyepiece extendable to 192 mm). The tubular bubble can be observed at the same time as the target (through a 45° mirror in the 'telescope'). The circle is graduated from -60° to + 60° in 1° steps (vernier scale graduated in 10' intervals), from 100% to +100% (2% divisions between 0 and 40%, 5% div between 40 and 100%. The radius of circle is about 42 mm for the scale in degrees. Locking screw for bubble and vernier arm. The 'telescope' and the bubble carrier are painted black. The circle is in metal. The tubular level is in an aluminium housing (48 mm long, 11 mm diameter).
