Description

The master grid plate (in anodised Aluminium) allows to plot (pin holes on a plan) a 500 x 400 mm grid at 50 mm intervals very efficiently. The precision machined holes (3 mm diameter) are then used to position a 'piquoir' (small instrument with a needle guide that exactly fits the holes) to produce neat pin holes for the coordinate grid on plans. Transparent centring disks with a small circular mark can be inserted into the holes of the plate for the alignment of the grid plate with a grid on an existing plan or to extend the grid on a new plan.

The accuracy is quoted to be equal or better than that of the right-angled (orthogonal) coordinatographs of the same firm, namely 0.04 mm.

The piquoir and the four centring disks are in a small cardboard box (92 x 67 x 28 mm).

The plate and the small box are packed in a wooden frame (705 x 540 x 50).
