Description |
Reflector with three rectangular EDM prisms. The prisms are arranged vertically above each other, tiltable (about the centre of the middle prism) and rotatable (about the vertical axis). Triangular target at bottom for direction measurements. Gun-sight on top for pointing to EDM instrument. The prisms are uncoated, allowing for total reflection between glass and air. The back cover can be removed so that the back surfaces can be cleaned (from dust and condensation). No tribrach is included. See also items 0420 and 0431. |
History & comments |
Designed for the first electro-optical distance meter (DI10 Distomat) of Wild Heerbrugg, Switzerland. The rectangular shape of the individual prisms is due to the side-by-side arrangement of the transmitting and receiver optics of the Wild Distomat DI10. Manufactured circa 1969. |
