Description |
This Wild T1 optical micrometer theodolite is typically used for low-order triangulation, traversing, tacheometry, property surveys, mining surveys and construction. The instrument has one plate bubble and one altitude bubble, with the altitude bubble located beside the vertical circle. The plate bubble sensitivity of the theodolite per 2 mm run is 30 seconds. The diameter of the objective lens of the telescope is 42 mm, and the shortest sighting distance is approximately 1.5 metres. The graduated circle diameter of both the horizontal and vertical circles is 79 mm. The latest versions of the T1 had an optical micrometer that allows direct reading of the circles to 6" and estimations to 3". The instrument in the collection has lines every 20", allowing (realistically) an interpolation to about 5". |
