Description |
Precision aneroid barometer with electronic pressure point detection and readout on a mechanical counter. Least count 0.1 mm Hg, estimate to 0.01 mm Hg. The original cathode ray tube indicator was replaced by a red/green diode indicator (designed by the Electronics Laboratory of the School of Surveying) running off an 9 V battery . The side panel with the specification plaque can be removed to attach/detach the battery. The device originally required two 30 V (hearing aid) batteries (in series) and one 1.4 V battery. The instruments were supplied with calibration charts over the pressure working range, for 20 degree and 35 degree temperatures. Swiss Patent No. 342011, British Patent No. 816073 Range: 675 to 800 mm Hg |
